HR & Employee Relations Consultant
In my current position, I manage a human resources team and have direct responsibility through the entire recruiting process. In addition to my talent acquisition responsibilities, I plan and implement regular supervisor training sessions and develop and maintain updated processes and procedures. In previous positions, I have led and developed a successful recruiting team and utilized strong communication skills. As a recruiting manager, I was responsible for creative talent recruiting, onboarding new hires, and managing the online hiring system.
Working in human resources for 9 years has provided me with the opportunity to not only work with diverse groups of people but also the knowledge and skills to train others on discrimination and unconscious bias. Learning employment laws while working as a paralegal has provided me with the knowledge to train leaders to not judge others based on any protected class they belong to.
I have always enjoyed working independently while collaborating with a team. I would appreciate the opportunity to assist with building policies, procedures and programs that help the organization to continue to grow. I have extensive experience with thinking strategically and developing new programs to recruit and retain diverse talent.
