I’ve been in recruiting since I graduated from college. I have a passion for recruiting, leading a TA function, process, technology, tools, managing programs/projects, solving, and fixing problems.

Work Experience

Director, Global Talent Acquisition Operations
May 2017 - Apr 2020 XPO Logistics

Built and managed the Talent Acquisition Operations and Compliance function for XPO to support ~15,000 hires annually in North America. Managed a team of 10 developing and managing Talent Acquisition processes and programs, identifying emerging staffing technologies, designing training and reporting to enable and evaluate efforts to attract and select high performing, diverse employees enterprise wide. Partnered with Legal and other internal stakeholders to define and uphold XPO’s pre-employment practices in accordance with government regulations.

  • Oversaw TA Budget (~14M annual).
  • Deployed SuccessFactors ATS in Europe (UK, France, Netherlands, Poland, Ireland, Romania, Spain and Italy), and India automating recruiting operations and providing visibility and branding to open positions.
  • Deployed HireVue (on-demand and live interview) – US and UK.
  • Deployed Avature CRM – NA only.
  • Redesign of SuccessFactors Global ATS templates improving consistency across business units by optimizing candidate selection workflows and templates by hire type.
  • Improved global operational efficiencies by deploying a global recruiting process resulting in improved candidate and hiring manager experience, improved quality of hire and standardized recruitment technology.
  • Deployed Global TA SharePoint to increase visibility to key process documents.
  • Implemented a new TA member training, resulting in a more efficient onboarding process to maximize productivity and new hire ramp-up time.
  • Standardized pre-screening questions and updated and streamlined reject/withdrew reasons globally.
  • Developed and executed refresher training for all existing users in Europe.
  • Launched the Direct Hire Centralized Adjudication Team to support all US background checks completed through First Advantage (FADV). 
  • Launched a background screening program for India through FADV.
  • Deployed a customer background check matrix to ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements.  This was also deployed to our suppliers for the contingent workers.
  • I-9 dashboard buildout, updated work instructions, and trained all Business Units on I-9 and E-Verify process, resulting in process owners following a more consistent process.
  • Mitigated TA compliance risk by deploying process and compliance training to Global TA SuccessFactors users on key processes and compliance.
  • Deployed an Interview guide builder (NA) and behavioral interview training which provided compliant questions to hiring managers to improve the interviewing process.
  • Revamped the data integrity dashboard for NA to focus on reducing offline recruiting work, improving requisition management and improving candidate management.
  • Created and provided monthly running forecasts to the SVP, Talent Acquisition which enabled making decisions on tools, headcount, and programmatic spend.
  • Maintained budget tool entries to ensure the tool was updated in real-time.
  • Co-led TA budget proposal deck build-out.
Talent Acquisition Delivery Lead

Served in several capacities at Avanade. Most recently, oversaw the recruitment delivery of the NA Talent Acquisition team (US, Canada and Sales) and part of the core NA leadership team.

  • Architected and rolled out the Unified Recruiting Model which increased productivity, improved operational efficiencies, reduced operating costs and reduced time to fill.
  • Built and implemented an enhanced interview process that improved candidate experience, reduced our interview cycles and time to interview (~$2M annual savings).
  • Served as key member of team, to build the content and roll out a Junior Recruiter Program (1st ever at Avanade).
  • Designed and implemented a Talent Pipeline Strategy within Taleo that mimicked a CRM.
  • Architected, built and implemented an employee referral requisition framework in Taleo, that tracked and reported on all NA employee referrals, which resulted in reduced escalations and increased the NA employee referral hiring percentage.
  • Developed reports and dashboards to include predictive analytics for hiring managers, recruiter productivity, pipeline health indexes, data integrity and KPI dashboards.
  • Constructed a Talent Acquisition workbook which housed workforce planning, open demand, candidate pipeline and hires in one excel document.
  • Selected and implemented a Recruitment Process Outsourcing provider in the US and Canada to supplement recruiting efforts.
  • Designed a requisition framework and analytics dashboard in Taleo to support and track ROI on RPO and 3rd Party research.
