With over twelve years of experience in human resources, I have a true passion in developing and leading talent and culture strategies to achieve win-win throughout the organizational and people agenda.   

Here is a brief summary of my most recent accomplishments:

  • Designed and facilitated a 3-year senior executive strategic workshop with the Chief Executive Officer in late 2018 and help built the strategic roadmap to scale the organization and refresh/ reinforce culture work.
  • Led the HR Digital Transformation Project, strategize on future roadmap, RFP and business cases development for CEO and other senior executives.
  • Successfully leading hotel greenfield projects in USA, Thailand, China, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Hong Kong SAR.
  • Revamp talent development agenda for hotel group- revamped the performance appraisal process, introduced company cascaded goal planning with corporate and hotels, introduced talent compass (9box) and a more structured talent review process (promotions/ succession planning).
  • Form and led the global compensation committee. Leading revamp work of executive incentive and bonus reward programs; including short-term, long-term, developers’ incentive and executive committee incentive programs etc. Harmonizing across regions and updating plan designs to achieve organizational strategic objectives.
  • Led global year end merit and bonus review for field and corporate. Refreshed business processes. Standardized all global HQ’s to align timelines and workflow. Working directly with all global senior leaders informing them of following year manning plan. Review market gaps.

Acting as advisory on a Human Resources Transformation project for an integrated casino hotel
project in Macau, with a total headcount of over 20k.

• Helped confidential client (i) refine people and organization related structure, (ii) enrich HR policy framework, (iii) clarify
cadence on policy approval, and (iv) define overall HR team structure.
• Supported project by validating project team's proposals, provide reference material and act as discipline/ industry subject
matter expert.

Vice President of Talent & Culture
Jun 2017 - Oct 2019 Rosewood Hotels & Resorts
  • Total headcount 9,000+ across four brands in over 20 countries- Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, New World Hotels & Resorts, pentahotels, and KHOS. 2019-2023 the group was projected to double the portfolio size and increase global headcount by 13k+.
  • Oversaw a corporate team of 8 with dotted line from field and regional HR of 47+.
  • Drove talent and culture strategy for Rosewood Hotel Group- Designed leadership strategic workshops with CEO, creating a 3-year strategic plan for the global talent and culture organization.
  • Reported directly into the CEO (6 months)/ CHRO, oversaw global human resources with specialization in Total Rewards and led the Digital HR Transformation project.
