While volunteering abroad with a service group in Kolkata, I discovered my passion for Human Resources. As a first generation American and the first college graduate in my family, I have a unique understanding of the impact that accessibility to resources can have. That is why I love and am passionate about Human Resources. It allows me to maximize resources including what I believe is the most important resource: human capital.
I am a Human Resources professional and caring for people has always been my number one priority. Whether it is helping my fellow employees with onboarding, training, skills development or coaching, I make it my goal to put people first. With five years of HR across various organizations and industries I have developed a breadth of knowledge and strive to be an authentic strategic leader for workplace culture.
I am skilled in HRIS system management, employee relations, coaching, payroll, talent recruitment, training, project management, team building, and benefits. I am an expert in strategic planning and committed to delivering authenticity to an organization.
Currently I am consulting with an niche organization called WorkMonger. At WorkMonger I am matching talent for non teaching roles within the education industry across the country. I am also currently an HR Specialist in the manufacturing industry for an international and globally strategic company. In pursuit of my Master of Science at NYU in HRM, I am open to learning and collaborating with others in the arena of Human Resources. Earlier this year I had the opportunity to travel to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates to take an International HR course. I am always willing to collaborate with fellow HR colleagues.
