Independently responsible for providing comprehensive recruitment and employment services for various schools/units across the Faculty of Arts and Sciences to ensure staffing and diversity goals are met.
The Contract Recruiter works closely with Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) hiring managers, department administrators, and HR Consultants and is responsible for full-cycle and equitable recruitment services for a variety of entry to senior-level positions. Primarily responsible for partnering with FAS Recruitment Services team to assist with multiple portfolios and hard to fill positions.
The Contract Recruiter will:
Manage recruiting from sourcing through hire. Consult and collaborate with hiring managers, Department Administrators and HR Consultants to understand recruiting needs.
Recommend sourcing options, screen candidates; coordinate and facilitate interview process including conducting interviews, debriefing sessions and follow up meetings as necessary; conduct reference checks; coordinate and negotiate salary. Implement good faith efforts to ensure that applicant pools have diverse candidates (minority, veterans, and individuals with disabilities). Participated in University-wide recruitment-related initiatives. In conjunction with the Recruitment Coordinator, provide metrics to hiring managers that inform recruitment planning and effective hiring strategies.
