OfficeTeam currently has a first-rate opportunity in the Wholesale Distribution industry for a highly-skilled and motivated Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will support a number of different functions, including owning a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This long-term temporary employment is with an organization in the Wholesale Distribution industry and is based in the Baltimore, Maryland area.

Responsibilities

- Perform various administrative duties

- Use the internet to search for potential customers

- Manage employee database archives

- Develop new employee on-boarding orientation materials

Requirements

- Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

- experience in in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

- Approachable and appropriate behavior when interacting with personnel at all levels in a quickly changing environment

- Excellent oral and written communications skills

- Adeptness in Prescreening

- Prescreening experience highly desired

- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred

- Onboarding experience

- Proficiency in UltiPro

- Command of Human Resources (HR) Administration

- Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and tasks
