JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE: RECRUITER (TEMP/SUPPLEMENTAL)

FSLA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

REPORTS TO: STAFFING AND COMPENSATION MANAGER

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Staffing and Compensation Manager the Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment activities for both exempt and non-exempt positions, including identifying, engaging, and attracting top talent, using creative search techniques to identify and pipeline candidates to fill current and future openings, and partnering with hiring managers throughout the process to ensure an efficient recruitment and onboarding process. The Recruiter must be well-versed in using multiple sourcing and ATS platforms and be capable of searching multiple parameters such as function, industry, skills, and specifications. The position is located in Milpitas, California.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify, engage and attract top talent for both exempt and non-exempt openings
  • Collaborate with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to ensure an efficient recruitment and onboarding process
  • Develop sourcing strategies and research methods that are successful in attracting viable candidates for each specific requisition
  • Proficient with using various sourcing methods such as Career Builder, LinkedIn, Monster, and other online tools or social media to engage and build a candidate pipeline
  • Creates job descriptions, posts jobs, and tracks recruitment status via ad hoc reports
  • Be the search expert for functional areas by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements
  • Partner closely with the HR Specialist to move candidates through the interview process as smoothly and efficiently as possible
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the recruitment and onboarding process


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree and/or equivalent relevant experience
  • Two years of experience working as a recruiter in a high tech environment
  • Strong knowledge of ATS systems and sourcing platforms
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge and ability to implement recruiting and sourcing best practices
  • Strong knowledge and ability to search and research candidates based on function, requirement, skills, industry, etc.
  • Knowledge of various ATS applications and sourcing platforms
  • Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office to create spreadsheets, presentations, and documents
  • Strong ability to partner with all levels of hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process
  • Able to develop creative search techniques which yield a consistent pipeline of candidates
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
  • Demonstrated ability to think and work independently
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Flexible and able to prioritize

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The Recruiter works in an indoor environment from Monday thru Friday. Schedule may be altered contingent on business or operational needs. May travel from building- to-building as needed; stands, bends, and walks. Performs fine grasping movements, operates a computer and keyboard as well as various office equipment. May occasionally push, pull, or lift up to 10 pounds.
