UNCF is searching for 2 recruiters who will be primarily responsible for assisting with UNCFs recruiting strategy, selection process and fulfilling the staffing needs of the organization on a temporary basis.The temporary recruiters will follow UNCF's full recruiting life-cycle process to identify and develop a pipeline of candidates for hiring managers.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Develop recruitment plans with hiring managers, to select qualified candidates to fill open positions.Develop job analyses and descriptions, preparation of vacancy announcements.Conducts pre-screenings, interviews and background/reference checks on qualified candidates.Negotiate offers to selected candidates, generate offer letter and transition candidate to HR Coordinator for onboarding.Manage recruitment compliance requirements, state and federal regulations, as well as administer and communicate organization policies, procedures and standards.Maintain HR records in the HRIS and develop reports and metrics for management as required.Facilitate training to inform or assist employees/managers on job related activities, policies or best practices as directed by the Director, Organizational Development.Complete special projects; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.Assist with maintenance of the human resources information system, including generating routine and ad hoc reports as requested.Perform other work-related duties as assigned.Education and/or ExperiencePosition requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and five to seven years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.Individual must have a thorough understanding of federal and state government employment laws and regulations to include Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), Federal Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and other related laws in order to maintain compliance.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data.Design - Generates creative solutions; Demonstrates attention to detail.Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.Project Management - Communicates changes and progress.Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.Customer Service - Manages difficult customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.Interpersonal Skills - Maintains high levels of professionalism and confidentiality; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things; Promotes a positive organizational culture.Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to the collaborative nature of the team.Diversity - Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences.Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently.* INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 8THTracking.aspx?zTiE89B83EvyCAyC0oV0BAr
