Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Remote Human Resources Assistant job in Irving, TX! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Type: Fulltime (40 hours / week) contract

Length: 2+ months

Pay: 17.00 - 20.00 / HR

Shift/Hours: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm; rotating Sunday and evening shifts, usually once per month - Sunday 4pm - 11pm EST and evenings 2pm - 11pm EST. Sun - Thurs only, Sun 2pm - 11pm and Mon - Thurs 8 - 5)

Responsibilities for this Remote Human Resources Assistant job include, but are not limited to:
  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK Mountain and Pacific Time Zones
  • This is a work from home opportunity however hiring manager would prefer candidates local to company offices : Las Colinas and Scottsdale. Will be covering employees across different time zones on west coast desired to cover west coast coverage.
  • Provide Employee Relations support for People Leaders and employees. Responsible for responding to questions and concerns, following established protocols, and handling confidential information.
  • Conduct initial intake to include completing required questionnaire, assessing situation, providing direction on appropriate actions to People Leaders and employees.
  • Complete return to work (RTW) process to include communicating with employees regarding RTW timeline and requirements, collecting documentation from employee or healthcare provider, ensuring RTW requirements are met, communicating RTW timeline with people leaders.
  • Interpret and apply understanding of company policies and procedures to provide immediate guidance and response to People Leaders and employees.
  • Maintain required documentation within case management system, including intake notes, supporting documents and reports.
  • Escalate matters that are ambiguous or require more expertise to resolve.


  • Qualifications for this Remote Human Resources Assistant job:
  • Associates degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred) in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or related equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of human resources
  • Critical thinking and decisive judgment
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
  • Ability to engage and respond with compassion and empathy
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in use of HR systems and/or call center technology tools
  • Clean and clear written and oral communication
  • Rotating evening and Sunday hours required (usually one evening or Sunday per month)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
