Fredrikson & Byron, one of the Upper Midwest's largest law firms, has an opportunity available for a temporary, full-time Human Resources Assistant to cover for a leave of absence. This position is responsible for working with our Professional Development Team and assisting the HR and Recruiting department. Responsibilities include:
Assist with HR software such as UltiPro and VI Desktop. Scan personnel files into firm's database. Update and maintain professional development Learning Management System (LMS/University Site). Provide administrative support to two Human Resources Generalists and the Manager of Professional Development. Schedule new hire orientation. Assist with all aspects of firm hiring, job postings, scheduling, etc.
Job Requirements: Candidates must have strong administrative and technology skills, be client-service oriented, organized, detail oriented and have the ability to handle multiple tasks. Advanced Microsoft Office 2010 Suite required. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and have human resources experience. Law firm experience and applicant tracking software experience is a plus. We expect the position to last 3 to 4 months depending on start date which would be around the beginning of April.
