We're an HRTech startup that helps match qualified job seekers with jobs. We are looking for an entry-level recruiter to help us source candidates for our clients' jobs. Ideally, you are someone who knows your way around LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms, and are always learning new strategies, tools, and hacks for sourcing candidates. You know how to find large volumes of prospects, and are comfortable reaching out and discussing our roles with them. You stay on top of new tools, plug-ins, and recruiting practices. We work primarily within the financial services industry, but have jobs across most departments. You can understand a job description and research any terms/skills you don't know, and are comfortable handling multiple jobs at once. You have experience sourcing for complicated roles with specific requirements, and know the best practices for converting senior level candidates. A professional LinkedIn profile is required.
Identify top tools, platforms, methods, and processes for sourcing a high volume of qualified candidates, for multiple roles
Conduct boolean and other searches to identify prospects with the appropriate skills and experience
Reach out to top candidates, and maintain a quick response rate
Identify alternatives sources for candidate acquisition
Maintain a spreadsheet of candidate outreach, and add candidates into our ATS
Check in with our team regularly via slack / zoom and update us on progress or challenges
Deep knowledge of LinkedIn and other candidate sourcing tools
Experience creating search criteria and boolean strings
Ability to familiarize yourself with a variety of different job descriptions, and gain more than a surface level understanding of their requirements
Ability to reach out to and message with ~100 people per day
Strong written communication skills and ability to message with prospects
Organized and efficient, and able to meet goals and deadlines
We are a small team, so are regularly in communication and open to your ideas and suggestions on how to improve. We are available to help as much as needed, and will try to provide you with whatever tools and subscriptions you need to be successful! We are also flexible when it comes to your hours and home commitments. Ideally, we would like someone to work with us for the long term!
