We are looking for an HR-Business Partner for our evolving HR Operations needs to help us accelerate our growth to build scale, efficiency, and great cultural experience.
The role will be responsible for managing a number of HR activities and providing HR advice and support to leaders and team members in their People agenda. The role will contribute to continually improving the value of HR's contribution to multiple businesses.
The right fit talent will also be involved in nurturing diverse talent for the company's long-term success and collaborating to deliver business outcomes.
Essential Job Functions:
Build and maintain global employee benefits programs, payroll, and other HR-related items from near-scratch. You will be the first real team member in the US for a fast-growing startup.
Experience working with global teams across Canada and India.
At-least 8+ years with relevant experience as an HR practitioner. Experience in the technical consulting environment is a plus.
Global HR Subject Matter expert, with noticeable business acumen for the industry.
Understand our business and how what you do helps it accelerate at rocket speed. Our industry is growing at an astronomical pace and faster than we can find/train and deploy talent.
Partner with the Business Leaders and the leadership team to build an innovative, performance-driven, dynamic, and high-impact organization.
Own and lead HR performance improvement metrics for Maverick across locations including OEF, Attrition, census, staffing cycle times, etc.
Responsible for managing and monitoring recruitment metrics (Time to hire, cost per hire) and ensuring all vacancies in the organization are filled.
Understand business, HR, and culture and have the ability to translate that into tangible actions that deliver results for the functional teams.
Run and manage the cyclic programs like compensation reviews, performance management, succession plans, role changes, promotions, training, and all other talent programs on a periodic basis, while bringing awareness and transparency about these amongst the line managers and employees.
Be a credible activist for our employees and for our mission. Speak up, exert influence to create positive team level changes via line managers.
Advise, mentor/coach, and guide all levels of management to develop positive employee engagement capability and leadership skills.
Lead career conversations and facilitate leadership connects and exert influence to create positive change and timely resolution on employee issues.
Drive the recruitment strategy for the technical hiring side.
Identify and manage cross-project dependencies and provide insight into the risk, issues, requirements, designs, or solutions to be able to effectively manage the program.
Execute other assigned tasks as delegated.
Core Competencies & Attributes
Preferably with experience in consulting firms/ mid to large IT organisations.
Experience with Benefits. Recruitment, Payroll and HR customs in USA, Canada and India.
Knowledge of Employment Law in the US (and other geographies).
Demonstrated ability to work within constraints as well as to challenge the status quo.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze data, understand HR trends, and develop recommendations based on them.
Proven experience of working with senior leaders and delivering HR agenda in line with business and people priorities.
Strong understanding of business, financial, and strategic outcomes.
Prior experience in Benefits, Change Management, Workforce Capability, HR Transformation, and Organisation Design would be a plus.
Excellent communication and persuasion skills
