As our Dental Network Recruiter, your goal is to implement our established network strategy for access and discounts to expand Guardian's dental networks and our subsidiaries. You will actively recruit and contract dentists for Guardian's dental networks to ensure the continued growth of Guardian's dental products through the strength of our networks and service offerings. By increasing the number of dentists in our networks, this will maximize Guardian's competitive rank and therefore increase the overall value that Guardian Dental can add to existing and prospective clients' business.
Dental network growth has become more challenging due to the complexity and breadth of dental products including PPOs and DHMOs and the changing landscape of the dental industry regarding network overlaps, swaps, and other forms of network arrangements. A strategic approach focusing on sales and negotiations are crucial for success.
Targeted marketing through effective telephone campaigns is critical for network expansion. Creative ways of reaching the decision maker must be used.
Network Expansion (70%)
Recruit and retain General Dentists and Specialists for our dental networks primarily through the use of effective telephone communication skills.
You will identify and prioritize target recruiting locations.
You will improve Guardian's Effective Discount by deepening the market discount while increasing utilization.
You will partner with our external recruiter when in person recruitment is needed.
Support Department Growth Objectives (20%)
Interact effectively with Recruiters, Provider Relations, Network Management Coordinators, and Support Analysts.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all members of the regional and national Network Management Team.
Assist with special recruitment projects including recruitment guarantees and commitments for new and in-force groups.
Ad hoc reporting requests or issues/questions are resolved promptly.
Participation on committee/task forces to provide subject matter expertise to improve processes and procedures to ensure department expectations and goals are being met and ensure a positive provider experience.
Submit Network Activity Reports detailing field activity.
Report recruitment progress on special groups back to the appropriate source.
Report recruitment/retention progress on special requests.
As our Dental Network Recruiter, you will report to our Regional Network Supervisor Leader who reports to our Regional Network Leader.Location/Travel
This position will be a remote/work from home position with occasional travel required once it is safe to do so. You must reside in Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zone.
High school diploma is required.
Previous employment with a dental insurance carrier is required.
Five years of experience in dental claims, provider relations or dental recruitment.

Analyze competitive situations and strategize and provide valuable intelligence back to team for analysis and action.
Strong time management skills, proficiency in handling multiple tasks, flexibility to respond to shifting priorities to maximize sales opportunities, and ability to work within tight deadlines.
Work effectively in both a team environment as well as independently to achieve both your goals and that of your team.
Thorough knowledge of Guardian's Dental products including DentalGuard plans, provider manuals and the Credentialing Process as well as industry knowledge of dental products, procedures and codes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams, and other reporting database tools.
