SUMMARY:

The HR Data Analyst is responsible for sourcing, compiling and analyzing Human Resources data from a variety of sources and developing client-ready presentations that will drive decision making. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to make and communicate comprehensive connections from multiple data sources. Management will rely upon these insights in order to develop people-centered strategies and solutions that drive positive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build and maintain Human Resources tracking systems and dashboards, including weekly FTE dashboard, retention reporting, quality of hire dashboard, spans and layers reporting, onboarding and training trackers, leadership matrix, org charts etc.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for HR data reporting and analysis. Partner with other experts and business partners to provide and receive consistent, accurate and reliable data.
  • Compile, analyze, synthesize and prepare executive summaries involving HR data, Financial reporting and Business analytics to facilitate data driven decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity across our HR systems and reporting, including the validation of personnel data in PeopleSoft
  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions for process improvement


Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing and analyzing complex data.
  • HR data experience is preferred


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated competency with business analytics and experience using BI tools
  • Experience working within HRIS applications; Oracle/PeopleSoft experience is a plus
  • Exceptional data accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong critical thinking skills to analyze data and solve problems
  • Process-oriented mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Well-organized, with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage change and transition effectively
