You will be part of a dedicated, high-performing and quality-focused Talent Acquisition Executive Team and will leverage new channels in the market to identify, attract and assess top talent. This is a remote/work from home position.
This qualified candidate will drive candidate sourcing and research activities for the Executive Recruitment team in North America and be responsible for identifying and engaging qualified candidates at the executive level, building talent pipelines and communities for current and future talent needs. This role may assist in the administration of internal talent mobility.
In collaboration with the Executive Recruitment team, build and execute the research strategy for talent pooling, market mapping, market research and competitor analysis.
Utilize a range of channels to source talent and build diverse pipelines with the awareness and understanding of the channels that return the best talent pool
Conduct candidate sourcing activities for both passive and active candidates, ensuring that candidate pools and pipelines are filled with diverse candidates that hold the necessary experience, skills and competencies.
Engage and communicate with potential candidates for senior level positions, gauge their interest and suitability for specific current or future positions.
Match, review and evaluate candidate applications and/or proactively sourced resumes against current executive recruitment needs.
Keeps applicant data updated timely within a CRM database to be able to identify potential applicants for positions
Drive operational excellence and compliance Ensure delivery against key metrics.
Participate in initiatives together with Global Talent Acquisition function to position BD as an employer of choice and implement meaningful programs to ensure successful recruitment and development of leadership talent.
Represents BD in the marketplace both as part of providing a world-class candidate experience and at external and internal events, to support talent acquisition goals. Supports alignment with Talent Management COE to ensure these relationships align with future leadership hiring needs and possible development opportunities.
Education & Experience
Minimum of an Associate's degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
5+ years of executive sourcing and candidate generation within an executive search firm, recruitment agency and/or in-house recruitment function, including diversity sourcing.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated success in identifying exceptional candidates, and building robust candidate pipelines.
Strong overall knowledge of relevant employment legislation and employment market trends.
Experience working with recruiting and candidate related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred), resume databases, candidate assessments and internet sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean search strings, job boards, etc.).
Comprehensive expertise in creating sourcing strategies and methods for finding candidates for niche roles.
Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the TA executive search team.
Proven experience in identifying and engaging senior-level candidates.
Strong focus on a high touch candidate experience with a passion for driving for results.
Exemplary communication skills with executive presence with an ability to develop and cultivate authentic and long lasting relationships.
Attention to detail combined with strong project management skills are key to successfully managing multiple sourcing/research projects.
