Emplicity is a PEO that provides outsourced HR services to clients primarily located in CA. We are looking for a remote employee to take on the HR Generalist role. This position will be a subject matter expert to facilitates the development of best practices and procedures internally in order to service out clients in the best possible way.
The human resource generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for HR department; assists in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Assists in the maintenance of the employee.
Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
Assists in annual projects and updates of forms and other client related documents.
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Administers leave of absences for clients in compliance with state and federal leave laws. Maintains an accurate tracking mechanism for all leave of absences.
