Handle confidential information, adhering to high standards of professionalism and protection of payroll, HIPAA and non-public records
Assist with recruitment, benefits, time and labor records, and Culture Club initiatives
Field and resolve employment-related inquiries
Act as the trusted liaison for employees and management alike
Supports HRIS maintenance and optimization
Coordinates and manages training assignments
Support People & Culture initiatives related to benefits, workers compensation, leave administration, and immigration
Work closely with finance and accounting on payroll and benefits
Provide calendaring and external-communication support for our executive team

Some college with business emphasis preferred; working towards PHR certification a plus
Must have solid knowledge of CA state wage and hour regulations
High technology proficiency in Microsoft suite, Google tools, etc.
HRIS/Paylocity experience preferred

Able to perform tasks and make decisions with little to no supervision
Friendly with effective interpersonal skills and ability to get things done with others
Strong adherence to procedures for handling sensitive and confidential information
