Human Resources Generalist, Remote within the U.S.

At Matrix Providers - You come first. Always. Your success is the focus of our entire business. We are hiring for a full time Human Resources Generalist to join our corporate team working from a remote based office within the U.S.
**This is a remote position and will be performed out of the candidate's home-based office. Individual must have discipline to work in this work environment and needs to be reliable and readily available always throughout the work day. **
Position Requirements: • One to three years of experience in Human Resources preferred • Experience and proficiency using an HRIS database; Paycom preferred • Strict adherence to confidentiality standards • Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and accuracy with attention to detail • Strong organization and time management skills
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent amount of experience in an HR related field • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
Responsibilities & Functions:
• Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual • Coordinates New Hire process engaging with employees to ensure a seamless onboarding experience, including I9 process • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees • Administers leave process to include FMLA, Medical and Workers Compensation • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database as needed • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws and standards and other government regulations • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems • Works effectively as a team contributor on all assignments • Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Scheduled Hours: • Full Time • Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but employee must be available during "core" work hours and work at least 40 hours a week
Travel: • Traveling may be necessary depending on business needs
