We are currently recruiting for a temporary, remote Human Resources Assistant to screen and interview for emergency positions at Virginia's Department of Health. The position is projected to last several weeks, pays $18 - 20 per hour and requires a pre-employment background check.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
Assist human resources team leads with screening and interviewing of COVID-19 contact tracing staffing positions.
Under direction of HR manager, incumbent would identify minimally and well qualified applicants using defined criteria.
Incumbent would be responsible for data collection, entry and management.
Using established data collection tools, incumbent would collect, enter and maintain accurate data of daily productivity.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
2+ years of human resources or recruiting experience required.
Requires strong oral communication skills.
Demonstrated experience with MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and Google Drive required.
