Overview

This position is part of a 6-month project team. This is a full-time position with the option of Tuesday-Friday coverage (10-hour shifts), or Saturday-Monday coverage (12-hour shifts).

Essential Functions

Sprouts Farmers Market is looking for passionate individuals that are flexible and willing to jump in and help Sprouts Farmers Market navigate the COVID-19 national crisis by providing the highest level of support to our 30,000+ team members.

You will join a COVID-19 Response Team dedicated to providing support, problem solving and de-escalation to Sprouts team members related to COVID-19. This immediate short-term and full-time opportunity will oversee Sprouts' Wellness Inbox, which responds to approximately 150 emails per day during weekdays, and 75 emails per day during the weekend.

Essential Job Functions
  • Professionally and thoughtfully represent Sprouts' Human Resources team through management of the Wellness Email Inbox.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate communication with the COVID-19 Response Team, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate promptly to Wellness Email Inbox inquiries, providing appropriate assessments and responses.
  • Answer and respond appropriately and completely to email inbox during scheduled shifts.
  • Diffuse and de-escalate challenging situations involving individuals with questions and concerns related to COVID-19.
  • Build a strong rapport with the COVID-19 Response Team and other business partners to create a trusting and supportive dynamic.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements

  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience required
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service-related position strongly preferred
  • Compassionate about the care and well-being of others
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously, as appropriate, once instruction is given
  • Strong communications skills, and ability to communicate ideas clearly to varied levels of team members
  • Effectively prioritize and oversee multiple tasks
  • Ability to contribute to a high degree of teamwork and collaboration
