COMPANY OVERVIEW

Swyft, Inc. is a retail sales channel for brands and retailers that develops and operates automated retail stores such as BestBuy Express, Benefit Cosmetics, CVS and Pokemon. Since 2001, our team has successfully deployed thousands of automated retail points. Lately we have used our software, hardware and managed services to enter into machine learning and other automation applications.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This full-time or part-time remote working internship is for a talented Marketing student to take a hands-on approach with recruiting Swyft's sales representatives across the United States. In this role you will build a national sales team of sales representatives across the USA. You will design and implement direct marketing outreach campaigns to qualify and recruit new sales team members using our recruiting database tracking software. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of direct marketing and building and managing sales funnels. This role is for a senior undergraduate student or graduate with a passion for direct marketing and technology, as well as the details as outlined below.

Scope & Responsibilities:
  • Define and report on direct marketing campaigns; identifying key target audiences and performance objectives
  • Manage lead pipelines and communications outreach, managing contacts through the recruiting funnel
  • Conduct market research on appropriate targets, adapting plans accordingly
  • Development, testing and analysing results of messages and adapting and responding to metrics
  • Work within a team to deliver on recruitment objectives
  • Be a key advocate for communicating and driving corporate vision and values

Required Skills:
  • Relevant work experience with positive references
  • Experience in direct marketing, digital marketing or marketing communications is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with un understanding of succinct messaging and data analysis and metrics
  • A clear understanding of CRM
  • A desire to learn about marketing and sales processes while supporting existing sales teams
  • A creative approach to data analysis and content development
  • Be results-oriented, motivated, take initiative, and have commitment and passion
  • Be an effective communicator

This is a full-time or part-time position with our growing team either working remotely or in our beautiful office in the heart of the Financial District in San Francisco.
