We are looking for a Head of People to be a strategic partner to the business, join an experienced leadership team, help us scale a high-performing, values-driven culture, and ensure high employee engagement and development while balancing impact and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the CEO and serve on our executive team (Read about our team here:https://www.noredink.com/job_post?gh_jid=2192156)
  • Scale a high-performance culture with a large remote workforce, including international employees
  • Own strategy and execution of performance management, training and development, internal comms, and culture initiatives while managing an HR professional
  • Oversee our recruiting efforts, managing a small team and partnering with leaders across the company to attract and retain top talent while building effective, scalable, and inclusive processes.
  • Design and implement strategies, programs, and solutions that balance employee and business needs and facilitate successful collaboration among cross-functional teams
  • Ensure continual company compliance with labor laws 
  • Lead with a strategic mindset and a tenacious work ethic while championing NoRedInk’s mission and values

Qualifications:

  • You have a minimum of 8 years of total work experience and have managed a high performing, cross-functional team in a startup environment
  • You have a minimum of 4 years of people management experience
  • You have a track record of influencing leader effectiveness, improving operational efficiency, and building scalable infrastructure to support a growing, performance-based culture
  • You have in-depth experience with and can lead cross-departmental talent planning, performance management, training & development, internal comms, and culture initiatives
  • You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to process and synthesize disparate information
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are strategic, thoughtful, empathetic, and direct
