As a Technical Sourcer and member of the Talent Acquisition team at TORC, you will be instrumental in our ability to scale our business, partnering with our Recruiters and Hiring Leaders to build highly engaged and successful engineering teams. You must thrive in the hunt and be focused on networking closely within the industry to identify the right talent and companies to target, leveraging your technical and business knowledge to develop meaningful recruiting strategies

Role Responsibilities:

  • Source for specific technical teams prioritizing critical positions; use your growing relationships with talent pools and your understanding of talent markets to qualify, identify, and secure talent pools to address immediate and near-term talent needs
  • Participate in kick off meetings, build robust sourcing strategies, identify top tier candidates, manage candidates (mid to senior level) through initial interview process and ensure a seamless transition to your recruiting partner
  • Ensure candidates are engaged in and satisfied throughout the recruitment process, helping them prepare for each phase
  • Drive our mission and product with the ability to showcase the differentiating qualities of TORC compared to industry competitors; demonstrating knowledge about our business and appropriately answer any questions as they arise
  • Create robust pipelines via creative sourcing methods; build talent maps; gather in-depth knowledge of market trends and be able to speak to findings with clients up to the Director+ level
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience, serve as a brand ambassador in representing TORC’s culture
  • Partner closely with your Hiring Manager(s), serving as a trusted advisor; proactively identify roadblocks and challenges with pipeline / process; communicate effectively using data when making recommendations for improvement
  • Partner closely with your Recruiting partner(s) throughout the sourcing/recruiting process, providing clear communication
  • Work to improve upon existing processes and develop innovative strategies around finding talent for our team
  • Showcase your passion for the industry. This means intimate knowledge about competitors, target companies, and trends to build effective talent pipelines
  • Utilize our ATS to track and maintain candidate pipeline and activity; utilize our CRM to create targeted talent pools and messaging strategies

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years sourcing/recruiting experience in an agency or corporate recruitment environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, Masters degree preferred
  • Experience successfully sourcing and recruiting technical talent required
  • Experience utilizing a CRM to track candidates and source for leads
  • Experience utilizing data to drive decisions and provide detailed updates to clients on a regular basis
  • Strong client partnerships; acts as a trusted advisor to hiring managers
  • Proven ability to identify areas of opportunity and communicates effectively to cross-functional partners (Sourcers/Recruiters and Hiring Managers)
  • Technically savvy and hungry to continue learning
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Positive attitude; team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • The ability to influence key stakeholders with the courage to challenge and set expectations
  • Solution orientated, able to solve complex recruitment problems and challenges
  • Creative approach to recruitment and ways to attract top quality technical talent with the ability to present new recruiting concepts to stakeholders
