Out Talent team is currently seeking a temporary Talent Sourcing Specialist to assist our team of recruiters with identifying viable candidates for various positions across the MaineHealth system. Our department’s hours of operation are 8am – 4:30pm (with flexibility) and a hybrid model of working part time in the office, and part time at home.

The Sourcing Specialist plays a critical role in the overall recruitment process, partnering closely with our team of recruiters to understand position needs and desired skill sets, and then using that information to identify viable candidate leads.  The Sourcing Specialist will utilize internal and external resources, including social media and various databases, to locate talent and may conduct initial screening calls to determine potential interest in the career opportunity.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required with one to three plus years' experience in a sourcing, staffing or recruitment role. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience: Extensive experience with and knowledge of sourcing effectiveness, screening, interviewing, selection and candidate assessment techniques. Advanced level experience with using electronic media, social networking, internet research, candidate mining, and professional organizations to source candidates and build talent pipelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to create a compelling value proposition statement for engaging and recruiting passive, top talent for critical-to-fill positions.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strategic and creative thinker, who can multitask without sacrificing quality
