Our vision is to deliver trade credit and payment solutions that support business and inspire growth. In the pursuit of that vision, we are seeking a HR Business Partner to be based in Denver, CO.


Roles and responsibilities:


The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be the most senior position within the HR function and will report directly to the CEO. The HRBP will support the day-to-day needs of Finstro by building internal relationships, prioritize strategic people priorities and solutions that accelerate the achievement of business plans. The successful candidate will have responsibility for:


  • Cultivating culture and employee engagement and overseeing HR processes, including onboarding, performance reviews, internal communications, talent acquisition, compensation & wellbeing.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with employees working at all levels to understand business priorities.
  • Oversee all aspects of Learning & Development initiatives which will be designed for both staff (internal) and customers (external) and use modern and scalable digital content solutions where possible.
  • Work with business unit leaders to define and implement productivity tracking tools and reporting.
  • Stay abreast of trend changes in HR and translate external trends into organization actions.
  • Responsible for administering performance management program.
  • Advise leadership on hiring and terminations.
  • Provide guidance on employee behaviour and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints.
  • Partner with leadership to develop succession plans.
  • Create solutions to people issues which enable stakeholders to better meet their commercial objectives.
  • Use data and metrics to identify potential issues and support decision-making that increases employee engagement.


Experience and Skills Required


  • 7+ years of direct experience in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or Employee Relations role at a fast-growing technology-based sales-focused organisation operating within BFSI.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s in psychology, resource management or organisational development.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement and oversee training and development programs.
  • Experience with Project Management strategies and/or having PMs as direct reports.
  • Adept with productivity tracking and performance management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of employees and dealing with remote teams.
  • Commercially minded and see the HRBP position as a critical contributor to achieving a range of business outcomes including enhancing CX, staff retention, business process improvement and increasing sales.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to work across a broad range of issues and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and influence change.
  • Ability to travel and deal with remote teams and colleagues working in different time zones.
