We are seeking a motivated, organized, and proactive part-time Human Resources Coordinator who will support the Director of Human Resources with HR-related functions such as recruiting, onboarding, benefits, training, and compliance. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide support for special projects and programs as needed. This part-time role is based out of our Paramus, NJ office and is not a remote position.

 

This job is an excellent opportunity for applicants seeking to develop their experience in a variety of different Human Resources functions.

 

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate the recruiting and hiring process within the ATS system, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, processing background checks and drug screens, etc.
  • Manage the end-to-end new hire onboarding experience (including welcome gifts, training schedules, liaising with IT, and conducting orientation)
  • Assist with administrative tasks associated with GGG’s Giving, Wellness, and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
  • Monitor office COVID-19 safety procedures
  • Maintain both paper and online employee files
  • Maintain and distribute monthly birthday lists, anniversary cards, employee awards, and other milestones
  • Research HR initiatives and develop communications
  • Responsible for data entry and transactional operations on multiple platforms, including ADP Workforce Now
  • Research and coordinate virtual and in-person company employee events
  • Process invoices and manage the budget for Human Resources
  • Provide timely assistance to employee’s questions
  • Maintain company organization charts
  • Research and document departmental policies and SOPs
  • Coordinate 60-day and annual performance appraisal processes

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years of human resources-related experience
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Solid organizational skills and sense of urgency
  • Adaptable with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Canva and JazzHR a plus
