Our Global HR team partners with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members.

What will I be doing?

As the Human Resources Consulting Specialist, you will provide daily support, analysis, task, and project management to a cadre of HR consultants who provide Human Resource support to the Hilton Corporate enterprise. From supporting talent reviews and culture-building initiatives to pulling reports, preparing pivot tables, and finalizing job descriptions, your very tangible support helps create an outstanding HR experience for our team members and leaders at Hilton! This position reports to the Director, HR Consulting, and will work across the HR Consulting team globally as well as with internal clients.

More specifically, you will:

  • Handle a breadth of tasks from several HR consultants. Drive problem-solving, prioritizing, and batching tasks so that all requests are completed in a timely manner
  • Draft job descriptions and track recruiting/candidate processes
  • Pull reports using our in-house system, TMX, and provide analysis utilizing Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP; handle data integrity
  • Ensure HRIS (Oracle) system accuracy for Team Member records, including data entry and reporting
  • Develop presentations, org charts, and communications to deliver clear and effective data to support business initiatives
  • Play a critical role in high-priority HRC initiatives in Performance Management, Compensation Planning, and Talent reviews/calibration
  • Partner regularly with global departments including HRX, Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, Payroll, and Technology
  • Work collaboratively with members of the Global HR group to ensure high-quality and accurate deliverables are shared with clients
  • Provide accurate controls and conduct HRIS audits to ensure data integrity
  • Support projects as directed by the team and raise the risk as needed

  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
  • Proficient Microsoft skills with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to understand/manipulate basic spreadsheets using Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP formulas

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Three (3) years of professional work experience
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Demonstrated experience managing a high volume of tasks successfully
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Prior experience using an HRIS system (Oracle, Workday)
  • Hospitality experience
  • HR Generalist experience
