Tips for Using HR Lancers

We have seen an influx of new users to the site so we thought its time to remind everyone of the features provided by our little community.

Nearly 5,000 HR consultants and freelance recruiters have joined the site. About a quarter of you have created a public profile.

Profiles are only browsable by employers who register on HR Lancers. So if you want to be found create your profile.

PROFILE TIPS

  • Headline - give yourself a headline that describes what you do in 5-7 words.
  • Upload a resume or type in your experience as desired.
  • Use lots of keywords.
  • Choose up to 5 categories to classify your skills.

Be sure to include a picture as well. Treat your profile the same as you would your Linkedin profile.

Want greater exposure? Feature your profile. We have recently introduced a $7 per month subscription that allows you to create up to 3 separate profiles, useful for applying to different types of roles. Featured users also have their profile listed on top of all other profiles (at all times). In addition you'll be part of the HR lancers "Insider" email list that will  give you first alerts for new gigs and other tips for successful freelancing.

To upgrade just click the button from your dashboard page.

ALERTS

Be sure to signup for email alerts. You can do so by performing a search on the jobs page. They also appear on individual job pages at the bottom for "Email Me Jobs Like This". Let jobs and projects come to you!

BADGES

Do you have a website? If so, you can download some image badges here and link them directly to your profile on HR Lancers. Badges are a great way add credibility to your own website.
