HR Freelancer Spotlight Keirsten Greggs

Keirsten Greggs is Talent Acquisition Consultant and Career Coach. In 2017 she founded TRAP Recruiter, LLC, a small business committed to bridging the gap between the job seeker and organizations committed to attracting, hiring, developing and retaining diverse talent and fostering inclusive, equitable cultures.

2. Describe two of your past projects/gigs you were hired for?
  1. Execute full-life cycle recruiting for critical Global Trade Compliance, Information Technology and Legal positions at FLIR Systems, Inc
  2. Delivered Career Search Workshop for attendees at Hiring and Networking Events for talent who possess active security clearances
3. Which project from your past work are you most proud of?
A few years ago I re-designed a temporary Staffing program that provided cost-savings to an organization by reducing engagement of third-party vendors for temporary, surge support and stand-in for core staff.  Utilization increased by 40% and we ultimately converted about 80% of the temporary staff to full time, regular employees. 
4. Do you believe the HR/recruiting industry is poised for more freelancers? If yes, why?
Absolutely.  HR/recruiting has always been well positioned for gigs.  
5. Whats a fun fact you want people to know about you?
My first car was a stick shift/manual, so I'm obviously superior to people who can only drive automatics.
